Alice Lemonnier is part of the Doubles 2 team with Joanna Tuppal who Lemonnier compliments for their amazing synergy, and her positive presence. While Lemonnier does prefer to play net, she tends to play at the baseline, as she also loves to run back, and forth to hit balls.
A key game for Lemonnier was their match against Maranatha for their second league match where the pair won all three of their sets. For their first set, they won 6-0, for what Alice believes to be better synergy. During the set, Maranatha’s doubles team kept fighting, pointing out a particular instance where one of the girls hit the net while trying to volley, and her partner yelled at her over it. Throughout the match the two kept fighting, and resulted in Maranatha losing that set which is a complete contrast to Lemonnier, and Tuppal’s synergy.
Before their first match Lemonnier talked about how she doubted she and Tuppal would play together, believing that Coach Fieldhouse would see their friendship as a distraction, but was quickly proven wrong when the two got put at Doubles 2 together.
Lemonnier’s love for her teammates shows her to be a loving, compassionate teammate, and friend on, and off the courts, and someone who Loves-All.
